セルロースベースならではの独特な剛性を持ち、大切な滑走面を傷つけにくいのが特徴です。
A new scraper made from wood and cotton has been created. It features a unique rigidity inherent to its cellulose base, making it gentle on your precious gliding surfaces.

スクレーパーは本来、ワックスを効率よく剥ぐために削って角を出す道具です。しかし、その削りカスの行方が気になったことはありませんか？ このスクレーパーは、土壌だけでなく海水でも分解される生分解性素材。 メンテナンスで出る削りカスも、万が一の自然環境への紛失時も、環境への負荷を最小限に抑えます。 土に還るという意味を込めて、製品名を「OKAERI（おかえり）」と名付けました。
Maintenance without worrying about microplastics A scraper is fundamentally a tool designed to efficiently remove wax by shaving and creating an edge. But have you ever wondered where those shavings go? This scraper is made from biodegradable material that breaks down not only in soil but also in seawater. Whether during maintenance or if accidentally lost in the natural environment, the shavings minimize environmental impact. Named “OKAERI” (Welcome Home), it embodies the concept of returning to the earth.

もう一つ、大切な意味があります。 それは言葉通り、滑り手の皆様が山から無事に帰ってくること。 皆様の御守り代わりになればという願いも込められています。
There is another important meaning. It literally means wishing for all skiers to return safely from the mountains. It also carries the wish that it may serve as a talisman for everyone.

刻印されたメッセージは “Equip before drop-in”。 「drop-in（滑り出す）」その前に、しっかりと「Equip（備えるから派生し、心身共に整える）」。 滑る前にできる準備は全て行い、万全の状態で挑んでほしいという想いを刻みました。
The engraved message reads: “Equip before drop-in.” Before the “drop-in” (the moment you start sliding), make sure you are fully “Equip” (derived from preparing, meaning to be mentally and physically ready). We engraved this message to convey our wish that you complete all possible preparations before sliding and challenge yourself in the best possible condition.

中央に穴を開けました。カラビナや紐を通せるので、ウェアやバックパックに装着して持ち運べます。
A hole has been punched in the center. You can thread a carabiner or cord through it, allowing you to attach it to your clothing or backpack for carrying.

角を丸く加工しました。持ち運びの際に周囲を傷つけたり、怪我をしたりするリスクを防ぎます。
The corners have been rounded. This prevents the risk of scratching surrounding surfaces or causing injury during transport.

1つの角に「エッジ用スクレーパー機能」を追加。エッジに付着したワックスも効率よく除去できます。
Added an “edge scraper function” to one corner. It efficiently removes wax adhering to the edges.

“OKAERI” has obtained the Marine Biodegradable Biomass Plastic Certification Mark.

海洋生分解性バイオマスプラ認証マークはJBPAが2023年7月より開始した、
海洋での生分解性および安全性が確認されたプラスチック製品を認証する制度です。

The Marine Biodegradable Biomass Plastic Certification Mark is a system launched by the JBPA in July 2023 to certify plastic products that have been confirmed to be biodegradable and safe in marine environments.
